B Jones wrote this song after her diagnosis. If you look at the lyrics, they’re about starting over, and that is what she has had to do in so many ways. Learning to walk again, to organize herself, to write, and even to make music. At the same time, she realized how fortunate she is for all the support she has, not just from people, but from the universe in general. ‘Universe’ is a very, very deep song, written from her most absolute truth right now: starting over, having the courage to do it, and being grateful for the opportunity to begin again.
